Four individuals, including two Indian nationals, sustained injuries when debris from a successful interception fell on residential homes in southern Dubai, UAE. The Government of Dubai Media Office confirmed the incident and assured that it was managed following the highest safety protocols. Authorities reported that the debris caused minor injuries to two Indian nationals, one Bangladeshi, and one Sri Lankan individual.

The incident occurred as a response to ongoing conflicts in West Asia, initiated by strikes from Israel and the US on Iran. This led to retaliatory drone and missile attacks by Iran on US and Israeli facilities in the region. UAE’s Ministry of Defence disclosed engaging with multiple ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, and Unmanned Aerial Vehicles launched from Iran.

The Ministry further stated casualties, including the martyrdom of armed forces members and civilians of various nationalities. A total of 188 individuals sustained injuries of varying degrees, representing a diverse range of nationalities. UAE’s Ministry of Defence emphasized its preparedness to counter threats and protect the country’s security and stability.
