Defence Minister Rajnath Singh is set to visit Lucknow for a three-day trip to his parliamentary constituency. He will kick off the visit by inaugurating the ‘Sansad Khel Mahakumbh’ and participating in various public events. Singh’s schedule includes engagements across the city, starting with his arrival at Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport at 3:20 PM on Saturday.
Following his arrival, at 4:30 PM, Singh will join the Gomti Nagar Jan Kalyan Mahasamiti Annual Celebration at Tanki Wala Park in Vivek Khand-2, Gomti Nagar. Subsequently, at 5:45 PM, he will attend a ceremony honoring war heroes and Veer Naris at Surya Auditorium in the Cantonment area. Later in the evening, at 6:35 PM, he will participate in the Smritika War Memorial and Light & Sound Show program before heading to his residence on Kalidas Marg around 7:15 PM.
In addition to his engagements in Lucknow, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, along with Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, will inaugurate the national-level Advanced Agriculture Festival (Unnat Krishi Mahotsav) at the Dussehra Ground in Raisen, Madhya Pradesh. The festival, organized by Union Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, aims to provide farmers with comprehensive solutions from ‘Lab to Field’ and ‘Seed to Market’ under one roof.
The three-day event, labeled as an ‘Agricultural Mahakumbh’ by Chouhan, will showcase modern farming technologies, training programs, live demonstrations, and market linkages to enhance agricultural practices in the region. The festival will be inaugurated by Rajnath Singh and Mohan Yadav, with Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari attending the valedictory session on April 13.
Shivraj Singh Chouhan expressed optimism about the fair’s impact, stating that it will be a transformative opportunity for the farming community. He emphasized that the event will not only be a fair but also a significant chance to alter the fate of farmers in the region.
