Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta and Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva led the city unit’s delegates to the party’s National Office to propose Nitin Nabin as the next BJP President. Sachdeva expressed joy over nominating Nabin, the party’s current Working President, foreseeing new electoral victories and public service milestones under his leadership. The nomination submission included prominent BJP figures like Dushyant Gautam, Harsh Malhotra, and several party MPs and former city BJP Presidents.

Those present for the nomination submission also included Delhi Mayor Sardar Raja Iqbal Singh and Deputy Mayor Jaibhagwan Yadav, along with BJP Working President Nitin Nabin, who assumed office in Delhi on December 15. Nabin has been actively engaged in Delhi BJP’s activities, participating in events like offering prayers at the Ramakrishna Ashram and Gurdwara Bangla Sahib. Additionally, he joined BJP members in listening to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Mann Ki Baat’ programme and launched “Atal Smriti Sammelans” to strengthen the party’s organizational structure.
