Delhi Capitals, led by Axar Patel, faced a setback with a 23-run loss to Chennai Super Kings in the IPL 2026. Despite initial victories, their winning streak was interrupted by defeats in recent matches. Patel encouraged the team, emphasizing that a couple of losses do not define them and highlighting their overall good performance.

In a video shared by Delhi Capitals, Patel stressed the importance of unity and trust among players. He acknowledged the team’s potential, urging them to stick together and remain resilient. Patel emphasized the need for collective effort and a fresh start after the defeat against CSK.

During the match, CSK put up a strong batting display, led by Sanju Samson’s impressive 115 off 56 balls. Pathum Nissanka and Tristan Stubbs showed resilience for DC, but lacked support from the rest of the team. CSK’s bowlers, particularly Overton and Kamboj, kept DC’s scoring in check, securing the victory for CSK.
