Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta revealed plans to enhance 40 cow shelters in the city with comprehensive facilities. The initiative aims to expand services, energy generation from cow dung, and cleanliness efforts on a larger scale. In the initial phase, the focus will be on 10 modern cow shelters to ensure the well-being and care of destitute cows.
The Chief Minister emphasized the significance of the initiative by stating that it reflects cultural consciousness and compassion. Gupta highlighted the government’s commitment to transforming Delhi through a new governance approach, emphasizing performance over politics. She underscored the importance of addressing long-pending dues, including payments for various welfare schemes and scholarships.
Furthermore, Chief Minister Gupta met with Lieutenant Governor T.S. Sandhu to discuss development and infrastructure matters following the passage of the Budget in the Assembly. She expressed optimism about the Green Budget’s focus on infrastructure development, environmental concerns, and enhancing citizens’ quality of life. The government’s collective determination is to foster the growth of a developed Delhi.
