Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, along with BJP MP Praveen Khandelwal and other leaders, presented her government’s one-year report card in Chandni Chowk Parliamentary constituency, criticizing AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal for corruption. Chief Minister Gupta highlighted the BJP’s efforts in safeguarding Delhi over the past 27 years, emphasizing Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s stance on power as a tool for service. She pointed out flaws in the previous AAP government’s schemes and announced the launch of the Lakhpati Beti Yojana to support girls’ education.
Development projects worth millions of rupees are underway in various Delhi assemblies, including Shakur Basti, Tri Nagar, Model Town, Adarsh Nagar, and Shalimar Bagh. Chief Minister Gupta also mentioned significant allocations for road construction in Wazirpur Assembly and the commencement of a major road construction project from Inderlok Metro Station to Urban Extension Road-II. Plans to provide free LPG cylinders to families during Holi and the issuance of Pink cards for free bus travel to women in Delhi were also highlighted.
Referring to the recent court decision on the liquor policy case involving Kejriwal, Chief Minister Gupta criticized him, stating that despite his claims of innocence, he is considered guilty by the people. She mentioned various alleged scams involving Kejriwal, including the classroom scam, fake labour bills scam, Jal Board scam, ED-related cases, and the ‘Sheesh Mahal’ scam. The meeting, attended by several BJP leaders, emphasized the public’s interest in the government’s outreach programs, with active worker participation and engagement from civic and trade organizations.
