Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta met with BJP National President Nitin Nabin to discuss the implementation of public welfare schemes and organizational matters, as per a party official. Gupta shared details of the meeting on social media, expressing gratitude for Nabin’s guidance on Delhi’s development and welfare initiatives. She emphasized the city’s progress and residents’ well-being as top priorities, highlighting the government’s dedicated efforts.
The Chief Minister also participated in the launch of programs commemorating the 136th birth anniversary of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar until April 14. Alongside Delhi’s Minister for Social Welfare, Ravinder Indraj Singh, she invited citizens to engage in the celebrations, promising a grand and enthusiastic tribute to Baba Saheb in Delhi. Singh revealed plans for the “Bhim Jyoti Utsav” near India Gate, featuring exhibitions on Ambedkar’s life and literature, aiming to educate visitors on his legacy and ideals.
Singh further detailed the inclusion of folk-cultural events and activities to spread Ambedkar’s teachings widely, fostering national harmony. The platform will host participants from various sectors, echoing Baba Saheb’s principle of “Nation First” and his unwavering commitment to national interests.
