Delhi Dangal Warriors advanced to the final of the Pro Wrestling League 2026 after a tense victory over Maharashtra Kesari in the semi-final at Noida Indoor Stadium. The match ended 5–4 in favor of Delhi, setting up an exciting title clash with Haryana Thunders. Shubham Kaushik was named player of the match for his remarkable comeback in the 57kg men’s category, while Manisha Bhanvala earned fighter of the match honors for Maharashtra in the same weight category for women.
In the 62kg women’s contest, Anjli led Delhi to an early lead with a composed performance, defeating Dudova Bilyana Zhivkova 12–4. Maharashtra responded strongly as Manisha Bhanvala dominated Karla Godinez Gonzalez in the 57kg women’s bout, winning 15–0 to level the tie. Maharashtra gained momentum with captain Robert Baran’s victory in the heavyweight clash against Ronak, securing an 11–1 win to put Maharashtra ahead 3–1.
Delhi fought back through Shubham Kaushik’s heroic performance in the 57kg men’s category, where he overcame a significant deficit to secure an 11–10 win. The tie was leveled at 3–3 after European champion Anastasiya Alpyeeva’s victory over Harshita Mor in the 76kg women’s bout. Delhi then surged ahead as Vafaeipour Hadi Bakhtiar won a fiercely contested 86kg encounter against Amit with an 11–9 score.
The final outcome was decided in the 74kg men’s bout between Turan Bayramov and Yash, with Bayramov declared the winner on a higher technique criterion, giving Delhi their fifth win. Delhi Dangal Warriors sealed their spot in the final with a 5–4 victory. The final against Haryana Thunders is scheduled for Sunday.
