The air quality in Delhi-NCR stayed in the ‘poor’ category on Tuesday morning, with the Air Quality Index (AQI) climbing to 267, as per the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB). Various areas reported ‘very poor’ AQI levels, with Anand Vihar at 317, Ashok Vihar at 328, and Chandni Chowk at 291 among others.
In Noida, neighboring areas also faced poor air quality, with Sector-125 recording an AQI of 307, Sector-62 at 224, and Sector-1 at 236. The AQI classification rates readings between 0 and 50 as ‘good’, 51 to 100 as ‘satisfactory’, and 101 to 200 as ‘moderate’.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecasts Delhi’s maximum temperature around 25 degrees Celsius on February 10, with mist in the morning hours. The weather is expected to remain consistent until February 15, with temperatures ranging from 23 to 26 degrees Celsius during this period.
According to broader weather predictions, most of the country will experience dry weather, with limited precipitation in mountainous regions. Delhi, Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, and Uttar Pradesh are likely to have clear skies, while some isolated areas may see light drizzle.
