The much-anticipated romantic drama ‘Love Insurance Kompany (LIK)’ by director Vignesh Shivan, starring Pradeep Ranganathan and Krithi Shetty, will now hit screens on April 10 instead of the earlier scheduled date. This delay comes after several previous postponements of the film’s release. Originally set for September 18 last year, the film has faced multiple reschedulings, with the latest shift moving it from April 3 to April 10.
Vignesh Shivan took to Instagram to share the new release date of “#LIK from April -10,” along with a humorous announcement video featuring Anirudh, Pradeep Ranganathan, and himself. The film’s makers have had to navigate various release date changes, initially moving the premiere to October 17 and later to December 18 last year to avoid a clash with another film. Despite previous plans for a February release and a recent announcement for April 3, the film now stands rescheduled for April 10.
‘Love Insurance Kompany’ has generated significant anticipation among fans, especially with Pradeep Ranganathan’s track record of delivering successful films in the Tamil industry. With a star-studded cast including S J Suryah and Gouri Kishen alongside Ranganathan and Shetty, the film also boasts a talented technical crew. The movie features cinematography by Ravivarman, music by Anirudh, editing by Pradeep Ragav, and stunts choreographed by Peter Hein.
