The ruling Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) is set to convene its 12th State Conference on Monday in Siruganur, Tiruchi district. This gathering is crucial as it precedes the upcoming Tamil Nadu Assembly elections.
The conference aims to rally party members and boost the DMK’s campaign momentum statewide. Themed “Stalin Thodaratum, Tamil Nadu Vetri Perattum” (Let Stalin Continue, Let Tamil Nadu Triumph), the event will draw a significant number of party officials, workers, and supporters from various parts of Tamil Nadu.
Scheduled to commence at 3 p.m., the conference will kick off with cultural performances before the main political agenda unfolds. DMK President and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin will lead the conference, starting with hoisting the party flag and addressing party members upon his arrival around 5.30 p.m.
Stalin’s speech is anticipated to showcase the DMK government’s accomplishments and outline the party’s political roadmap for the upcoming elections. Noteworthy announcements may also be made during the conference, with Deputy Chief Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin attending as the chief guest.
