DP World and the Professional Golf Tour of India (PGTI) have collaborated to introduce the DP World Players Championship. The inaugural leg of this championship is set to take place at the Qutab Golf Course in New Delhi from February 10 to 13, 2026.

The tournament features a prize purse of INR 1.5 crore and commenced with the Pro-Am event on February 8. The 2026 DP World PGTI season’s second event will witness the participation of 126 players, including 125 professionals and one amateur.

Notable Indian professionals like Veer Ahlawat, Om Prakash Chouhan, and Manu Gandas, former DP World PGTI Order of Merit champions, along with other top players, will compete. The field also includes foreign talent like Sri Lanka’s N Thangaraja, a three-time winner on the DP World PGTI last year.

Representatives from Delhi, including Arjun Prasad, Kshitij Naveed Kaul, Rashid Khan, and Shamim Khan, winners on the DP World PGTI, will be part of the event. Kapil Dev, president of PGTI, expressed gratitude to DP World for supporting the growth of professional golf in India.

Amandeep Johl, CEO of PGTI, highlighted the partnership’s aim to provide Indian players with a competitive platform for growth. The collaboration with DP World aims to position PGTI globally, attracting attention and establishing India as a premier destination for elite golf competitions.
