In a heartwarming turn of events, four expatriates from India and Bangladesh have emerged victorious in Big Ticket’s ‘Big Win’ contest, collectively winning a substantial sum of Dh370,000. The winners, three of whom are based in the UAE, have expressed their joy and shared their aspirations following this life-changing event.

The Winners and Their Stories

  • Ashik Patinharath: An Indian expatriate residing in Sharjah for the past 19 years, Ashik clinched the grand prize of Dh25 million in the Big Ticket draw. Overwhelmed with gratitude, he emphasized the importance of perseverance, stating, “I tried 100 times.” Ashik plans to utilize his winnings to secure a better future for his family and support his extended relatives back in India.
  • Rubel: A 36-year-old Bangladeshi businessman who has been living in Saudi Arabia for 17 years, Rubel won Dh1 million in the Big Ticket draw. Having participated since 2020, he expressed disbelief at his win, saying, “This is my first-ever raffle win, and it’s for such an extraordinary amount!” Rubel is yet to decide on the specifics of utilizing his prize but is certain about continuing his participation in future draws.
  • Two Other Winners: Alongside Ashik and Rubel, two other expatriates shared the prize pool, bringing the total winnings to Dh370,000. While their names have not been disclosed, they have expressed their excitement and gratitude for this unexpected fortune.

Dreams and Future Aspirations

The winners have diverse aspirations following their success. Some intend to invest in businesses, while others plan to support their families and communities back home. The victory stands as a testament to perseverance and the hope that Big Ticket offers to countless participants worldwide.

The Big Ticket draw, held monthly in Abu Dhabi, has changed the lives of numerous expatriates over the years, making millionaires out of everyday people. The latest winners serve as an inspiration to those who continue to try their luck, proving that persistence can indeed pay off.
