Edappadi K. Palaniswami, the AIADMK General Secretary and former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister, is gearing up to kick off the last phase of his campaign, “Protect the People; Retrieve Tamil Nadu,” starting from April 2. This campaign, running until April 19, aims to garner support for the AIADMK-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) candidates in the upcoming Assembly elections scheduled for April 23.
As the election date nears, the AIADMK is initiating an extensive outreach program to bolster its presence in key Assembly constituencies. Palaniswami’s tour will commence on April 2, focusing initially on the northern and central districts of Tamil Nadu until April 6.
The campaign will cover various districts, including Dharmapuri, Krishnagiri, Vellore, Tirupattur, Tiruvannamalai, and Villupuram, before moving on to Puducherry and Cuddalore. These areas are pivotal battlegrounds where the AIADMK aims to enhance its electoral chances.
Continuing the tour, Palaniswami will visit Perambalur and Salem, followed by an intensive two-day campaign in Chennai on April 8 and 9. The Chennai leg holds strategic significance, with multiple Assembly constituencies witnessing intense competition among key political players.
