Farmers in Madhya Pradesh can now register for wheat procurement at the minimum support price (MSP) for the Rabi marketing year 2026-27, starting from February 7 until March 7. Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection Minister Govind Singh Rajput urges eligible farmers to complete registration within this one-month period for seamless participation in the procurement drive.
The registration process has been simplified, with 3186 dedicated centers established across the state. Free registration is available at various facilitation centers, including Gram Panchayat and Janpad Panchayat offices, tehsil offices, and cooperative societies. For those opting for paid services, registration facilities are offered at designated centers with a fee not exceeding Rs 50 per registration, as per district collectors’ instructions.
Verification necessitates proper documentation, such as land-related records, the farmer’s Aadhaar card, and other photo identity proofs. Aadhaar-linked verification is mandatory, either through an OTP sent to the registered mobile number or biometric devices. The name on the Aadhaar card must match the one in land records, with any discrepancies resolved through tehsil office verification before approval.
