A tragic bus accident in the Haldia industrial area of West Bengal resulted in the deaths of three individuals and left 10 others injured. The collision occurred on the Balughata-Kukrahati road at Ghosh’s More area under the Sutahata police station in Haldia. The bus collided head-on with a motorcycle, leading to the fatalities and injuries.
The victims, three members of the same family who were on the motorcycle, lost their lives in the accident. Additionally, ten bus passengers sustained serious injuries. Five of the injured individuals are in critical condition and have been transferred to Tamluk for treatment, while the remaining five are receiving medical care at Haldia Sub-Divisional Hospital. An investigation into the incident has been initiated by the authorities.
Eyewitnesses reported that the bus, en route to Kukrahati, veered out of control, causing the fatal collision with the motorcycle. The bus driver allegedly lost control, resulting in the tragic accident. The impact was so severe that the front part of the bus was extensively damaged. Local residents, upon hearing the crash, rushed to the scene to assist in rescue operations and transport the injured to the hospital.
The collision led to a traffic jam in the area, impeding the movement of vehicles. The incident has caused shock and grief in the local community, with authorities working to determine the circumstances that led to the tragic accident.
