FC Bayern defeated St Pauli 5-0, extending their Bundesliga lead to 12 points. This victory saw Bayern break the Bundesliga’s single-season scoring record, now totaling 105 goals this season. Jamal Musiala scored early, followed by goals from Leon Goretzka, Michael Olise, Nicolas Jackson, and Raphael Guerreiro after halftime.

The match started with Manuel Neuer in goal and a defensive lineup of Konrad Laimer, Minjae Kim, Hiroki Ito, and Tom Bischof. Bayern’s midfield featured Joshua Kimmich, Goretzka, Olise, Musiala, and Guerreiro, with Jackson leading the attack. Substitutions in the second half included Josip Stanisic, Jonathan Tah, Alphonso Davies, Luis Díaz, and Bara Sapoko Ndiaye.

Bayern dominated the game, taking an early lead through Musiala’s header off Laimer’s cross. The team equaled the Bundesliga record from 1971/72 with their 101st goal. Despite several attempts, including a deflected shot from Jackson and a missed opportunity from Olise, Bayern maintained control. Goretzka’s goal from Kimmich’s free-kick marked the team’s 102nd goal of the season.

After the break, Goretzka and Olise added to Bayern’s lead, with goals from Musiala, Jackson, and Guerreiro sealing the victory. The win puts Bayern at 76 points, 12 ahead of Borussia Dortmund with five games remaining. Next, Bayern will face Real Madrid in the Champions League quarter-final second leg.
