Five differently-abled individuals secured permanent positions at a state-run cooperative bank in Gandhinagar. The appointment ceremony, overseen by Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Sanghavi, also involved the distribution of accident insurance cheques to deceased farmers’ families. These employees, from various branches, received their appointment orders after successfully completing their probation period.
During the event, Deputy Chief Minister Sanghavi commended the newly-appointed staff and wished them success in their future endeavors. Additionally, accident insurance aid was provided to the families of deceased farmer beneficiaries, with significant sums disbursed to support them during challenging times. The bank offers accident insurance coverage of up to Rs 11 lakh to every farmer family with a loan, with the premium covered by the institution.
The program, held in commemoration of 11 years of governance under Prime Minister Narendra Modi, highlighted the bank’s commitment to rural households’ financial security in times of unexpected events. Bank chairman Dolar Kotecha expressed gratitude to the Deputy Chief Minister for his participation and reiterated the institution’s dedication to farmers and employees’ well-being. This initiative aims to enhance support mechanisms for beneficiaries and promote inclusive employment opportunities within the cooperative banking sector.
