Former Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) member Avadh Ojha commended Union Home Minister Amit Shah, describing him as a determined political figure with a strong decision-making approach. Ojha, in an exclusive interview, lauded Shah’s recent statement on the eradication of Maoism in India, considering it a significant milestone. He expressed relief at the potential resolution of the longstanding Maoist issue, emphasizing its national importance.
Ojha also drew parallels between Shah’s leadership style and that of Patel, highlighting Shah’s political acumen and resolute decision-making. He likened Shah to an “Iron Man” based on his observations during television appearances. Additionally, Ojha shared insights on the upcoming 2026 West Bengal Legislative Assembly elections, noting the BJP’s strong determination to challenge the status quo and the growing desire for change among voters.
With the West Bengal Assembly elections scheduled for April 23 and 29, Ojha remarked on the BJP’s assertive stance, particularly in addressing concerns related to Bangladeshi immigrants. He suggested a potential shift in governance, citing a prevalent sentiment for change among the electorate. Ojha emphasized the public’s inclination towards transformation, especially after an extended tenure under Mamata Didi’s leadership.
