Former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy criticized Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and his supportive media for resorting to propaganda and abuse instead of countering his “MAVIGUN” proposal. Jagan Mohan Reddy condemned derogatory remarks made by a Telugu media house’s managing director on the ABN channel, highlighting the use of offensive language in political discourse.
He expressed strong disapproval of the disrespectful comments, emphasizing that such behavior undermines public discourse and disrespects women. Jagan Mohan Reddy accused Chandrababu Naidu and his aligned media of diverting attention, spreading misinformation, and resorting to abuse due to their inability to address the “MAVIGUN” proposal politically.
Recently, Jagan Mohan Reddy suggested the MAVIGUN corridor as an alternative state capital to Amaravati, leading to controversial discussions. YSRCP leaders staged a peaceful protest at the ABN Andhra Jyothi office in Hyderabad, demanding action against the managing director for his offensive remarks. Despite the provocation, Jagan Mohan Reddy praised his party members for maintaining composure and upholding democratic values during the protest.
The former Chief Minister criticized Chandrababu Naidu, Nara Lokesh, and Pawan Kalyan for supporting the derogatory comments, labeling their stance as misogynistic. He called for immediate action against the managing director and condemned the leaders for endorsing such disrespectful behavior.
