Full Dress Rehearsal Held for Republic Day Parade in Jammu

A full dress rehearsal for the Republic Day parade took place in Jammu, with Lt. Governor Manoj Sinha set to lead the celebrations on January 26. The event, held at Maulana Azad Stadium, showcased patriotic fervor and unity in diversity. Divisional Commissioner Jammu, Ramesh Kumar, oversaw the parade, which included various contingents from the Army, BSF, CRPF, and other departments.

The parade featured men and women contingents from different security forces, ex-servicemen, NCC cadets, and school students. Bands from various organizations played tunes during the march past. Additionally, colorful tableaux highlighted government initiatives like Operation Sindoor and themes promoting awareness and national unity.

Schoolchildren and artists presented a vibrant cultural program, emphasizing national integration and the composite culture of Jammu and Kashmir UT. The event also featured thrilling Motorcycle Acrobatics by the Dare Devils of Jammu and Kashmir Police. The Republic Day parade in Srinagar will be led by Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary on January 26.
