Georgia Senate Declares March 10 as “Dr. Indrakrishnan Day” to Honor Indian-American Physician’s Contributions

Who Is Dr. Indran Indrakrishnan?
Dr. Indrakrishnan is a board-certified gastroenterologist and has been a practicing physician in Georgia for over 30 years. He has also served as a former member of the Georgia Board for Physician Workforce, appointed by then-Governor Nathan Deal.
In addition to his medical achievements, Dr. Indrakrishnan is renowned for his dedication to cancer awareness campaigns, particularly his work with the Georgia Colorectal Cancer Roundtable. He has been instrumental in shaping policies to improve cancer screening rates and patient education across the state.
