The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) has introduced MyCUREApp, a new digital platform to enhance civic services and speed up grievance redressal in the city. This app allows residents to report issues like sanitation, streetlights, roads, and drainage, and track the progress of their complaints in real time. Officials see this as a move towards more digital and citizen-focused urban governance.
The MyCUREApp replaces the previous MyGHMC app, consolidating all civic grievance services into a single user-friendly interface. It aims to provide better usability, real-time tracking, and improved monitoring to ensure quicker complaint resolutions and promote transparency in municipal operations. Aligned with urban governance reforms, the platform emphasizes responsive service delivery and digital efficiency.
GHMC authorities highlight that the MyCUREApp enhances backend monitoring by integrating field workflows with supervisory oversight, leading to faster response times and better coordination among departments. It also enables data-driven decision-making and performance evaluation through centralized dashboards. Described as a comprehensive digital solution, the app streamlines citizen services for a seamless experience, eliminating the need for multiple platforms or physical visits to municipal offices.
Citizens are urged to download the MyCUREApp and actively engage in strengthening urban governance by promptly reporting civic issues for swift resolutions. In a related development, Chief Secretary K. Ramakrishna Rao has instructed officials to prioritize cleanliness in Greater Hyderabad, Cyberabad, and Malkajgiri Municipal Corporations. Following Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s directives, the Chief Secretary reviewed the cleanliness initiatives with officials, emphasizing the importance of hygiene and public health protection measures.
