Goa, Uttarakhand, and Arunachal Pradesh emerged victorious in their matches on the third day of the 16th Hockey India Sub Junior Men National Championship 2026 at the Rajgir Hockey Stadium in Bihar. Goans Hockey triumphed over Hockey Rajasthan 7-0 in a Division C clash, with Karan Kumar scoring a hat-trick. In another Division B encounter, Hockey Uttarakhand defeated Hockey Bengal 5-2, while Hockey Arunachal secured a 4-2 win against Hockey Bihar in the same division.
On the second day of the championship, Andhra Pradesh, Mizoram, Delhi Hockey, Telangana Hockey, and Chhattisgarh Hockey also clinched victories in their respective matches. The tournament features 30 teams competing in Divisions ‘A’, ‘B’, and ‘C’, with promotion and relegation adding intensity. Division ‘A’ comprises 12 teams divided into four pools, with the final scheduled for April 12.
Division ‘B’ is played in a league format with two pools, while Division ‘C’ follows a similar structure. The championship aims to determine the top teams for promotion and the bottom teams for relegation in each division.
