He appreciated the unique experience of playing beach games and acknowledged the challenges and rewards of competing on sand.
The Khelo India Beach Games 2026, organized by the Union Territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu, is being conducted with technical support from the Sports Authority of India and national sports federations. The ongoing second edition of the Games features over 1100 participants competing in eight sports, including volleyball, soccer, sepaktakraw, kabaddi, pencak silat, Open water swimming, mallakhamb, and tug-of-war, with 32 gold medals at stake.
