GOPIO Chamber of Commerce and Industry Goes Global

The GOPIO Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI) is set to expand worldwide following its relaunch at the GOPIO Convention 2024 in April. On May 23, GOPIO officials and New York-area business leaders convened at the Braj Aggarwal CPA PC conference room to discuss the expansion strategy.

Supreme Court and Gujarat High Court advocate Nachiket Dave, a key figure in the organization’s plans, was a special guest from India. Dave will play a crucial role in the upcoming GOPIO-Ahmedabad chapter launch.

The meeting was spearheaded by GOPIO Chairman Dr. Thomas Abraham and GOPIO Global Ambassador Prakash Shah, with officials from Manhattan, Connecticut, and North Jersey chapters in attendance.

The GCCI, a non-geographical chapter of the Global Organization of People of Indian Origin (GOPIO) International, aims to provide a networking platform for Indian diaspora business professionals. It seeks to foster business investments among NRIs/PIOs globally, facilitate cooperation between Indian and diaspora businesses, and host business and investment events to enhance global networking and partnerships.
