Garden Reach Shipbuilders and Engineers Ltd (GRSE) handed over three key naval vessels to the Indian Navy on Monday. The delivered ships include the advanced guided missile frigate Dunagiri, the Survey Vessel (Large) Sanshodhak, and Agray, an Anti-Submarine Shallow Water Craft.
This achievement highlights GRSE’s enhanced capabilities in executing complex projects, expanding production capacity, and meeting delivery timelines. The milestone of delivering 118 warships, with 80 to the Indian Navy, underscores GRSE’s commitment to operational excellence.
The Dunagiri, Sanshodhak, and Agray deliveries were officially accepted by senior naval officials. Dunagiri, a significant advancement in indigenous warship design, is equipped with advanced weaponry, sensors, and combat systems for multi-dimensional operations.
Cmde Shishir Dixit assumed command of the Survey Vessel (Large) Sanshodhak, enhancing the Indian Navy’s hydrographic and survey capabilities. Agray, an Anti-Submarine Warfare Shallow Water Craft, is designed for coastal operations, surveillance, and anti-submarine warfare missions.
GRSE’s ongoing projects include the construction of various warships, emphasizing indigenous capabilities and technological advancements.
