Violence against civilians in Balochistan persists, with human rights organizations revealing the extrajudicial killing of three individuals and the enforced disappearance of five others by Pakistani forces. The bodies of 17-year-old Sadiq Noor and 40-year-old Muslim Dad were found in Turbat, Kech district, after being missing for nearly seven months. They were reportedly taken by Pakistan’s Frontier Corps and Military Intelligence from their homes in Turbat.
The Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC) disclosed that 19-year-old student Qamber Baloch’s body, showing signs of torture, was discovered in Turbat. Qamber had been missing since October 7, 2025. The BYC condemned these actions, emphasizing the systematic nature of such incidents where accountability and justice are absent, leading to fear and silence.
Baloch Voice for Justice (BVJ) highlighted the enforced disappearances of five Baloch civilians by Pakistani forces. Najeeb Ashraf and Allah Bakhsh were taken from Surab, causing distress to their families. In a separate incident in Karachi, Pakistan’s Counter-Terrorism Department detained three individuals, including a woman, without legal proceedings. The BVJ demanded immediate disclosure of their whereabouts and safe release, criticizing the lack of transparency and due process.
