The International Cricket Council (ICC) has revealed plans for 16 warm-up matches scheduled from February 2 to 6 preceding the commencement of the 2026 Men’s T20 World Cup on February 7. These matches will take place in four cities across India and Sri Lanka. In India, matches will be held at the BCCI Centre of Excellence (CoE) Ground 1 in Bengaluru, DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai, and M.A. Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.
Meanwhile, in Sri Lanka, the warm-up games will be hosted at SSC Cricket Ground, R. Premadasa Stadium, and Colombo Cricket Club Ground. Defending champions India are set to play a warm-up match against South Africa on February 4 in Navi Mumbai. Additionally, India A will participate in warm-up games against USA and Namibia on different dates.
Fans interested in attending the USA vs. India ‘A’ and India vs. South Africa warm-up matches at DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai can purchase tickets either online through the BookMyShow website or directly at the venue’s box office. The warm-up games will kick off with Afghanistan facing Scotland in Bengaluru on February 2 and will wrap up with the India A vs. Namibia game at the BCCI CoE on February 6.
