Tourism in Kashmir has seen a significant boost, with a shift from stone-pelting to a flourishing industry. Despite challenges like the Pahalgam terror attack, Kashmir is now considered safe for all visitors. Ilyasi encouraged people to visit the region, emphasizing its rapid advancement and restored tourism sector.
Acknowledging the efforts of Dr. Darakhshan Andrabi, the Jammu and Kashmir Waqf Board Chief, Ilyasi praised her work for transforming Kashmir into an exemplary model. He expressed optimism about the integration of Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK) with Jammu and Kashmir, noting the desire of PoK residents to join India through a referendum.
