Independent MP Rajesh Ranjan, known as Pappu Yadav, expressed gratitude to his supporters for their unwavering support during his time in jail. He urged the people of Bihar to unite for justice and criticized the state government for the deteriorating law and order situation.
Pappu Yadav, representing Purnea, was recently granted bail in three pending cases by the Patna MP-MLA court. This decision means he now has bail in all cases against him, clearing the path for his release from Beur Jail.
The news of Pappu Yadav’s bail brought joy to his supporters, who had been rallying behind him since his arrest on February 6 from his residence in Patna in connection with a 31-year-old case. The arrest led to protests by his supporters, resulting in a clash with the police and the filing of an additional case against him.
Following his arrest, Pappu Yadav’s health reportedly worsened, leading to his hospitalization at various medical facilities before being transferred to Beur Jail. He was granted bail in the 31-year-old Gardanibagh case on February 10.
In a recent statement, Pappu Yadav criticized the Bihar government, alleging a lack of effective governance and a failure to protect citizens. He highlighted recent criminal incidents in the state, questioning the handling of cases and accusing the authorities of shielding influential criminals.
