India’s pharmaceutical sector is gearing up to transform into an innovation-focused global force with India Pharma 2026. This initiative aims to shift the industry’s growth from volume-centric to value-driven and research-oriented expansion. Scheduled for April 13-14 in New Delhi, the 9th edition of India Pharma 2026 will be organized by the Department of Pharmaceuticals, in collaboration with FICCI and IPA.
The upcoming conference will serve as a vital platform for deliberations on transitioning India’s pharma industry from a volume-oriented market to a value-based and innovation-driven global leader. It will bring together policymakers, global industry leaders, researchers, and innovators to explore fresh opportunities and strategies for advancement.
Under the theme “Discover in India: Leapfrogging Life-Sciences Innovation,” the event seeks to position India as a worldwide center for pioneering research and innovation in pharmaceuticals and life sciences. Emphasizing enhanced healthcare access, accelerated innovation, and reinforced global health security, the focus will encompass areas such as drug discovery, complex generics, and biosimilars.
