In a new move to attract more visitors, India has waived the visa fee for Thai travelers applying for a 30-day e-Tourist visa. This offer includes both single and double entry visas and is available through India’s e-Tourist visa portal.

The visa fee exemption is valid until 31 December 2024, saving Thai travelers approximately THB2,900 per application. This represents a significant saving for Thai families planning a holiday in India, making travel more affordable and appealing.

India’s visa fees for foreign visitors usually vary based on nationality and reciprocal agreements. However, under this new arrangement approved by India’s Ministry of External Affairs, Thai citizens can now obtain an e-Tourist visa without paying any fees, allowing them to visit India for up to 30 days with double entry.
