Dr. Sukh Kaur made history in 2023 by becoming the first South Asian woman elected to the San Antonio City Council. Gurvinder Singh, a successful entrepreneur and humanitarian, is running for Saxy City Council, Place 6. Singh has lived in Saxy since 2014 and operates businesses across real estate, construction, and insurance sectors.

In addition to his entrepreneurial achievements, Singh serves as the International Humanitarian Aid Director for UNITED SIKHS, leading over 50 disaster relief missions worldwide.
