The past year witnessed a rise in global armed conflicts, emphasizing the significance of preparedness for nations to succeed.
The Army chief highlighted initiatives under ‘JAI — Jointness, Aatmanirbharta, Innovation’, emphasizing progress in 2025. He noted the stable situation along the North-western Front, stressing the need for constant vigilance and gradual normalization through interactions and confidence-building measures. Deployment along the Line of Actual Control remains balanced and robust, with ongoing capability development and infrastructure enhancement.
