Members of the Indian cricket team, including T20 captain Suryakumar Yadav and others, visited the historic Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple before the final match against New Zealand. The players, dressed in traditional attire, sought blessings ahead of the upcoming T20I series finale at the Greenfield Stadium.
Throughout the series, Team India has been on a spiritual journey, visiting various temples for blessings. Head coach Gautam Gambhir also visited temples like Mahakaleshwar Temple and Kalkaji Temple during the ongoing series against New Zealand.
Despite a recent defeat against New Zealand in the fourth match, Team India has already secured the series with three wins. The players are now focused on finishing the series strongly in the 5th T20I match against the visitors.
India’s impressive performance in the T20I series is a positive sign as they gear up for the upcoming T20 World Cup 2026, where they are placed in Group A and will face teams like Pakistan, the USA, Namibia, and the Netherlands.
