The news of her demise has deeply saddened the film fraternity, with many stars and celebrities expressing their condolences. Telugu star Jr NTR, among the first to offer his condolences, praised Asha Bhosle’s magical voice that resonated with millions over the years.
Veteran Telugu actor Mohan Babu also honored Asha Bhosle, acknowledging her voice as not just music but an emotion that connected with people across generations. He emphasized that though she may have left, her voice will endure eternally. Mohan Babu’s son, actor Vishnu Manchu, reflected on how Asha Bhosle’s songs were not just heard but lived through, describing her as an irreplaceable voice of an unforgettable era.
Tamil actor Vikram Prabhu, in a touching tribute, recalled Asha Bhosle’s close bond with his family, especially with his grandfather, Sivaji Ganesan. He highlighted her as a sweet and wise figure, expressing condolences to her family and emphasizing that her voice will continue to resonate through time. Anand Bhosle, the son of the late singer, announced that those wishing to pay their respects could do so at her residence in Lower Parel, Mumbai, at 11 am. He also shared that her last rites would be conducted at Shivaji Park at 4 pm the same day. Lata Mangeshkar, Asha Bhosle’s elder sister and a Bharat Ratna awardee, was cremated at the same location in 2022.
