An Indian expat living in Dubai scored big in the Big Ticket Draw, bagging the whopping Dh15 million grand prize. Mohammed Shereef, a procurement officer in Business Bay, has been faithfully buying Big Tickets online for over a year.
His winning streak came from a group effort, as he purchased the lucky ticket along with 20 of his colleagues. When asked about his plans for the windfall, Shereef shared his dreams: “I hope to reunite my family from India and kick-start my own business. Plus, I’d like to give back to charity.”
Shereef received the life-changing news while enjoying his weekend in Dubai’s Karama district.
