Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) stated that it is maintaining a steady delivery of approximately 28 lakh LPG cylinders daily to ensure stable domestic gas supply across India. Despite geopolitical challenges, the state-run oil firm emphasized that operations are running smoothly at normal levels.
The company, IndianOil, reassured consumers that there is an ample supply of LPG and advised against panic booking or hoarding. It highlighted that nearly 87% of LPG bookings are now done through digital platforms like SMS and IVRS, with deliveries verified through DAC OTP to reach the right customers.
IndianOil also mentioned that Oil Marketing companies (OMCs) are continuously providing 5 kg FTL cylinders to migrant laborers with valid ID proof for easy distribution. The firm assured that adequate measures are in place to ensure a consistent supply without any disruptions, urging consumers not to worry as the situation is closely monitored and managed effectively.
The company emphasized that domestic LPG consumers are their top priority, ensuring uninterrupted supply through authorized distributors and strict monitoring to prevent diversion and black marketing. IndianOil advised consumers to book LPG only through official channels and opt for OTP-based delivery for a secure and reliable experience.
