Indian students have achieved remarkable success at four major international Olympiads this month, bringing home a range of prestigious awards. At the 35th International Biology Olympiad in Astana, Kazakhstan, Vedant Sakre from Mumbai won gold, while Ishan Pednekar from Ratnagiri, Shrijith Sivakumar from Chennai, and Yashaswi Kumar from Bareilly earned silver medals.

Their success continued at the 65th International Mathematical Olympiad held in Bath, United Kingdom, where Indian students secured four gold medals. Adhitya M. V. Ganesh, Kanav Talwar, Rushil Mathur, and Anando Bhadur led the pack, with Arjun Gupta from Delhi winning silver and Siddharth Choppara from Pune receiving an Honorable Mention.

The 54th International Physics Olympiad in Isfahan, Iran, saw Indian participants win two gold medals, awarded to Rhythm Kedia and Ved Lahoti, and three silvers given to Akarshraj Sahay, Bhavya Tiwari, and Jaiveer Singh. At the 56th International Chemistry Olympiad in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, Devesh P. Bhaiya from Jalgaon won gold, while Avaneesh Bansal from Mumbai and Harshin Posina from Hyderabad secured silvers, and Kashyap Khandelwal from Mumbai earned bronze.

These achievements underscore the exceptional talent of Indian students, supported by the Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education (HBCSE) of the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR).
