External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar met with Oman’s Foreign Minister Badr Albusaidi in New Delhi to discuss trade, critical minerals, and regional developments, emphasizing the depth of the India-Oman Strategic Partnership. The meeting took place as Oman’s Foreign Minister attended the second India-Arab Foreign Ministers’ Meeting.
During the discussions, both sides highlighted the importance of enhancing bilateral cooperation and collaboration across various sectors. EAM Jaishankar also engaged in separate meetings with Foreign Ministers from Comoros, Sudan, Libya, Somalia, and Palestine to further strengthen ties and deepen cooperation.
India is hosting the second India-Arab Foreign Ministers Meeting in collaboration with the United Arab Emirates, aiming to build on existing cooperation and expand the partnership. This meeting marks a significant step in fostering dialogue and cooperation between India and the League of Arab States.
