Infosys Expands in Cybersecurity with Strategic Australian Acquisition

Infosys has announced the successful acquisition of The Missing Link, a leading Australian cybersecurity and cloud services provider, in an all-cash transaction valued at AUD 98 million (approximately ₹532 crore). The deal was executed through Infosys’ wholly-owned subsidiary based in Singapore.

Strengthening Cybersecurity Expertise

Founded in 1997, The Missing Link has established itself as a key player in cybersecurity, offering services across advisory, offensive and defensive security operations, risk and compliance, and managed services. With capabilities in Red Team (ethical hacking) and Blue Team (defensive strategies) operations, the company also operates a modern Global Security Operations Centre (GSOC).

This acquisition is a strategic step for Infosys to enhance its cybersecurity portfolio and better address the growing digital security needs of enterprises worldwide.

Strategic Synergy with Infosys Cobalt

The Missing Link will complement Infosys Cobalt, the company’s flagship cloud offering. By integrating cybersecurity solutions into its cloud platform, Infosys aims to provide a more robust and secure digital transformation experience for its global clientele.
