Inter Miami CF secured a point in a 2-2 draw against Red Bull New York at Nu Stadium in the MLS regular season. The match saw attackers Mateo Silvetti and German Berterame finding the net as Miami extended its unbeaten streak to six games.
Red Bull New York took the lead in the 15th minute with a goal from Jorge Ruvalcaba. Despite Miami’s persistent efforts, they managed to equalize just before halftime through Silvetti’s strike in stoppage time.
Silvetti’s goal, his second of the season, came from a well-executed play starting with Bright in midfield, finding De Paul on the right flank, who then set up Silvetti for a clinical finish. Miami continued their momentum into the second half, with Berterame scoring in the 55th minute to put them ahead.
Pressure from Daniel Pinter led to the ball recovery that set up Berterame’s goal. However, Red Bull New York fought back and leveled the score at 2-2 in the 77th minute through Adri Mehmeti. The match ended in a draw, maintaining Inter Miami’s unbeaten run.
Inter Miami’s next fixture will be an away game against the Colorado Rapids at Empower Field at Mile High in Denver, Colorado on April 18.
