The President of the Inter-Parliamentary Union, Dr. Tulia Ackson from Tanzania, has expressed worry about the current global situation in 2026. The conference, inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, is the largest in its history, with participants from 42 Commonwealth countries. She noted the shared challenges faced by parliaments globally and the need for cooperation.
Dr. Ackson stressed the significance of forums like the CSPOC in addressing common problems and finding solutions.
