Iran’s Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei has urged Iranians to plant trees in memory of those who died in US-Israeli attacks. This initiative is seen as a symbol of hope and national unity against perceived threats. Khamenei’s call coincided with the 47th anniversary of Iran’s Islamic Republic and the upcoming “Nature Day.”
Khamenei commended Iranians for their bravery in facing off against the US and Israel. He criticized the aggressors for causing environmental harm during their assaults. The Supreme Leader encouraged citizens across Iran to collaborate with state agencies in tree-planting activities until the end of spring.
Following joint US-Israeli strikes that claimed lives in Iran, the country retaliated with missile and drone attacks on American and Israeli targets. President Masoud Pezeshkian emphasized that Iranians hold no grudge against ordinary Americans. He accused the US government of being manipulated by Israel in their conflict with Iran.
Pezeshkian highlighted Iran’s historical stance against aggression and expansionism. He rejected the portrayal of Iran as a threat, attributing this narrative to Israel’s agenda. The President warned against targeting Iran’s vital infrastructure, labeling such actions as war crimes with far-reaching repercussions.
