Actor-producer Jackky Bhagnani marked National Youth Day by emphasizing the youth’s ability to bring about change, question, and lead. Sharing a clip from his film “Youngistaan” on Instagram, Jackky reiterated his belief in the youth’s potential to shape a better future. National Youth Day, also known as Vivekananda Jayanti, is celebrated annually on January 12 to honor Swami Vivekananda’s ideals and philosophy, serving as an inspiration for the Indian youth.
“Youngistaan,” directed by Syed Ahmad Afzal, features Jackky Bhagnani, Neha Sharma, and Jalak Thacker in a love story set against the political backdrop of India. Jackky, known for his roles in films like “F.A.L.T.U.,” “Ajab Gazabb Love,” and “Welcome To Karachi,” made his debut with “Kal Kissne Dekha” in 2009. He also ventured into production, co-producing “Sarbjit” in 2016 with his sister Deepshikha Deshmukh under Pooja Entertainment.
In his last on-screen appearance in the 2018 film “Mitron,” Jackky starred in an official remake of the Telugu film “Pelli Choopulu.” The movie, directed by Nitin Kakkar, follows the journey of characters Jay and Avni as they navigate self-discovery amidst societal and cultural influences.
