Kolkata Unveils India’s First Solar Dome Museum

In a significant stride towards sustainable innovation, Kolkata has unveiled India’s first Solar Dome Museum at Eco Park in New Town. This pioneering establishment stands as a testament to the nation’s commitment to renewable energy and environmental education.

The Solar Dome Museum is an architectural feat, rising 27 meters with a diameter of 45 meters. Its dome-shaped structure is adorned with 2,086 solar panels, generating sufficient energy to power the museum and illuminate the surrounding streetlights.
