An artist who meticulously crafted a replica of Shri Kedarnath Dham as a gift for PM Modi over two years, specifically for his Bengal visit, shared his excitement about the meeting. He mentioned, “I had been making this replica for the last two years, slowly and step by step. I thought that when PM Modi comes to Bengal, I would meet him and gift it to him.” Supporters, donning BJP caps and holding party flags, expressed their happiness and eagerness to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Prime Minister Modi, who had addressed three massive campaign rallies in different districts of West Bengal the previous day, engaged in a grand roadshow at Bagdogra near Siliguri in the Darjeeling district. The atmosphere was electric as thousands of people lined the streets, chanting slogans like “Modi-Modi” and “Jai Shree Ram” with fervor. PM Modi’s direct interaction with the crowd, including holding a replica of the BJP’s lotus symbol, further energized the supporters, intensifying the spirited chants.
