Leverkusen, Newcastle, and Bodo/Glimt emerged victorious in the first legs of their UEFA Champions League knockout phase play-offs. Leverkusen’s Patrik Schick netted two goals in four minutes to lead his team to a 2-0 win over Olympiacos, avenging a previous defeat. Meanwhile, Anthony Gordon’s four-goal performance powered Newcastle United to a dominant 6-1 victory against Qarabag FK.

Bodo/Glimt secured a memorable 3-1 win over Inter Milan with two goals in four second-half minutes. Sondre Brunstad Fet and Kasper Hogh played pivotal roles in Bodo/Glimt’s triumph, marking their third consecutive Champions League victory. Additionally, Club Brugge and Atleti played out a thrilling 3-3 draw, with Christos Tzolis scoring a late equalizer for Club Brugge.
