Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav visited Varanasi, offering prayers at the Kashi Vishwanath Temple and inspecting the Kashi Vishwanath Temple Corridor. He expressed that the proposed Madhya Pradesh-Uttar Pradesh Conference would enhance relations between the states, benefiting public welfare. Yadav conducted a detailed review of the temple corridor, focusing on pilgrim management and the mobile-app-based token system.
During his tour, CM Yadav examined the pilgrimage site’s crowd control measures and engaged in discussions with the Kashi Vishwanath Temple Trust regarding modern management practices. He mentioned plans for a Memorandum of Understanding to enhance management systems between the shrines of Baba Vishwanath and Baba Mahakal, aiming to improve devotees’ worship experience.
Furthermore, the Chief Minister visited the Ganga Ghat, highlighting the spiritual significance of the place and the cooperation between Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh in economic development. He praised the Ken-Betwa Link Project for benefiting farmers with access to affordable electricity, emphasizing the states’ mutual progress.
